Self-integration, critical to identity, is the process of connecting experiences to the self and often occurs as individuals narrate events.
5 Small Ways to Feel More Integrated
- A self-compassion mantra. "I am Loving Awareness"
- Create something.
- Hold something that makes you feel grounded. A pet, a stuffed animal, a stone or mala
- Imagine a time when you felt totally integrated. Try writing about it or telling a friend.
- Get to know the difference between feeling integrated and dis-integrated. Begin to notice triggers that set you in one direction or the other.
